BODYはオール単板で、TOPにシトカ・スプルースを、SIDE/BACKにマホガニーを採用。
フラットなティアドロップ・ピックガード、3Plyバインディングの1リングロゼッタを採用。 
L.R. Baggs Element VTCを搭載しており、サウンドホールエッジ脇でVolume/Tone コントロールが可能です。 
また、指板のエッジ部が丸みを帯びている点も特徴的で、スムーズなフィンガリングを可能にしてくれます。 
Mother of Pearl インレイ、グラフテックナット、ギア比14:1のGROVER製ロトマチックペグを採用。 
にかわ接着のダブテイルNeckジョイント、ニトロセルロース・ラッカーフィニッシュ（グロス）はお馴染み！ 
L.R. Baggs Element VTCは、さらにバランスが取れたサウンドを実現しており、ライブで重宝することでしょう！ 
スキャロップドXブレーシングによるラウドなBODY鳴りも健在！腰のある低・中音域はJ-45ならでは！ダイナミクスをつけて演奏するとJ-45らしいサウンドが響きます！

購入してから1年未満の物でこの値段はお値打ちだと思います。 
やはりj-45は王道と思わせるだけの鳴りです。
年月かけて育てがいのあるギターだと思います。
まだネック反りなどの不具合は感じられません。
