A PATEK PHILIPPE GRANDMASTER CHIME BOOK

1989年のパテック・フィリップ創立150周年を記念して、パテック・フィリップはキャリバー89ポケットウォッチを製作し、25年間にわたり33の複雑機構を搭載した世界で最も複雑な時計となった

（2015年にヴァシュロン・コンスタンタンのリファレンス57260が登場し、57という驚異的な複雑機構を搭載するまで）。

これまでに製造されたのはわずか4本だった。
ミレニアムの変わり目に、パテック・フィリップは1118個以上の部品を搭載したポケットウォッチ「スター・キャリバー2000」を製作した。


2014年のブランド創立175周年を記念して、フィリップ・スターンは2007年に正式にグランドマスター・チャイム・プロジェクトをスタートさせ、この機会にふさわしい腕時計を構想した。
それは、パテック・フィリップがこれまでに製造した中で最も複雑な腕時計であり、1839年以来のパテック・フィリップの遺産全体を祝うものであった。

本書は、グランドマスター・チャイムのデザインから実現までの道のりを驚くほど詳細に描いている。
パテック・フィリップらしい、美しいエンボス加工の布製カバーと175周年記念のエンブレムをあしらったスリップケースが付属している。
200ページにもかかわらず、素晴らしい写真と画像が満載で、驚くほど読みやすい。
